WHT Relic Hunters: Unveiling the Past with Passion is what we do.

Embark on a journey with the WHT Relic Hunters, a dynamic informal group of local history enthusiasts driven by an unwavering passion for delving into the rich tapestry of our heritage. Our mission is to not only explore history but to preserve, educate, and breathe life into the bygone eras.

Immersing ourselves in extensive research, we meticulously investigate diverse historical locales, from homesites, industrial areas, quarries, woodlands, abandoned roads, and museums to local, state, and national historic sites. But our exploration doesn't end there – we engage, where allowed, in metal detecting, photography, and bottle hunting, adding a layer of excitement to our historical pursuits.

Our guiding principles are grounded in simplicity. With utmost respect, we seek permission from landowners before venturing onto private properties. Transparency is our hallmark, as we share our discoveries with openness and enthusiasm. As stewards of the past, we leave every property as we found it, ensuring it remains in the pristine condition in which we first encountered it.
